How long does it take to get a Cake Topper?[At this time it is takes 3-4 weeks using US Priority Mail
after order has been processed.
If you need to meet a close wedding
date dead line, please contact us either by email or call us toll free
1-877-771-4966 and we will do our best to work with you.]
I'd prefer to have Platinum highlighting instead of
Gold.[Just select gold, platinum or clear when adding your cake top order to the shopping cart.]
I really like one of your caketops can I make a change to
it? [No problem at all.....just use the ask a question form and tell us
what you need and we'll get right back to you. You are also welcome to use our
toll free number 1-877-771-4966 to ask your question. In most all cases we can
accomondate your needs. If it's something minor like changing birds to
butterflies, not having the bells on the top or changing a color from one to
another. Just use the "instructions" box in the shopping cart system (it's
after entering your name, address, etc.) to specify your changes. ]
I'd like to have something custom made, how do I go about
it? [Just use our ask a question form. Give us as many
details as you can and we'll send you a quote on your special order and
explain how do order it. If you can provide a sketch or drawing, either attach
it to an email message as a jpeg image (please crop the image to be no larger
than 5 x 6 inches) to
info@sculpturedglass.com
or you may choose to send a fax to us toll free
1-877-771-4966 .]
How well do your products stand up to shipping?[Our
products are designed with shipping in mind. Nothing leaves the glass shop
that isn't properly prepared and packaged to withstand the rigors of being
sorted and handled multiple times between us and your delivery address. We
have an extremely low (almost 0%) occurance of items arriving damaged. We
never make something that can not be shipped.]
What happens if we do receive a damaged item?[It has
been very rare, but occasionally a top has gotten damaged in transit as do
other goods being shipped. If you should receive a damaged top please notify
us immediately (email us at info@sculpturedglass.com or phone us on our toll
free line 1-877-771-4966 ) so another one can be prepared and sent out. If it
was a custom special order we might ask you to return it first so we can
repair it. You may also be asked to notify the post office so an insurance
claim can be filed.]
Who will be delivering my purchase?[We ship exclusively
through the US Postal System. We have found them to be fast, reliable and
handle the packages without doing damage. Most orders are sent "Priority Mail"
and can cross the country form here in Delaware to California in 3 days. Even
"Princess House Crystal" uses the US Postal system to delver their products
without problems. ]
What if I'm not satisfied with my purchase after I receive
it? [We do understand you are buying something basically from a picture
(site unseen). If you are not satisfied you may return it within 30 days of
receipt and receive a 100% refund.]
The caterer has damaged my caketop. What should I
do?[This has happened to a couple of brides. DO NOT try to fix it with
glue. Return it to us for repair. If there's glue on it it has to be cleaned
in the annealing oven first to burn it off. Minor repairs are usually done for
the cost of the postage back to you. ]
Do you do repairs to other glassblowers products?[We're
sorry.....due to the nature and construction flaws of alot of the glasswork
we've seen out there we prefer not to attempt repairs. We do repairs
to our own products if you should have an accident though. ]
