Strat's ornamental designs are accented by hand with a fired on 22kt gold trim, Silver is available upon request. Some pieces are additionally accented with glass stains and porcelain flowers to bring out the natural beauty of the glass. This is Candy's flare (the finishing touches).

The displays are only a small fraction of the designs availiable, (yet to be pictured). So if you don't see what you are looking for all you need to do is ask . Strat and Candy are always willing to answer questions about their work. Click here for the most Frequently Asked Questions.

Cake Toppers
The original caketop designs feature a spun base reinforced for strength and the entire top is annealed thoroughly for longevity. This makes your wedding cake topper unique and above the rest in it's structure. The wedding cake toppers are the most popular item for customizing.

Borosilicate Glass

This is the type of glass used. Borosilicate glass is referred to as a "hard" glass. The softening point of this glass is 1500 deg F or 819 deg C. The glass is heated up in a flame, produced with torches especially designed for working with glass, to it's working point which is near 2000 deg F. It is then free formed using simple hand tools.

Additional glass is heated and fused on to form other parts (such as legs or arms). It is then "annealed" in an oven at 1050 deg F to remove all the strain from the heating and cooling down that has taken place during it's creation.
