A freelance glass artist for over 35 years, Strat McCloskey is experienced in scientific and ornamental glasswork and degreed in Glass Technology and Design through the Salem
County Technical Institute in New Jersey, now known as the Salem
Community College.
During Strat's early years of study he fell in love with the artistic side of his trade, and has perfected it to a science since then with his own natural artistic talent. This beautiful glassblowing art known as "Lampworking" may be viewed through

Strat & Candy McCloskey
With Candy also having an artistic background, this husband and wife team of glass artists devote their talents to creating original and customized wedding cake toppers and other glass figurines that can't be found anywhere else on the internet.
They also enjoy the part they have played in suppling pieces for several productions of the broadway play "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams.

We have a new apprentice working with us now and we are very proud of his accomplishments. As a beginning glassworker he has learnt alot very quickly and is already supplying two renaissance fairs with plenty fairies & dragons! click here to meet him.
